Typing brackets and markdown on a small phone keyboard can be tedious. DaVinci places a handy shortcut bar right above your phone keyboard:

Button	What it does
`[[ ]]`	Inserts two brackets and opens your note picker immediately.
`- [ ]`	Adds a checklist box with a single tap.
`#`	Turns the current line into a section heading.
`**`	Makes selected text bold.

Home Screen Fast Capture

Add the DaVinci Notes widget to your phone's home screen. When an idea strikes, tap the widget to immediately type or dictate your thought. It saves straight into today's daily log without waiting for the full app to load.

Battery & Data Saving Controls

In the mobile app's Settings > Sync:

Sync on Wi-Fi Only: Keeps your cellular data usage at zero.
Sync Only While Charging: Ensures the background sync never drains your battery while you're out and about.
